Creative Character
We believe that the foundation of true creative success is rooted in moral character, reflecting values and virtues that honor God and serve humanity. Placing your identity in the success of creative works will never bring rest, while finding identity in God produces the assurance needed to flourish.
We call Christian Creatives to use their creativity to steward and build culture. Let us be gardeners, not only weeding out the harmful products of culture, but planting seeds of good fruit through our endeavors, tending the garden and creating an environment where good fruit can thrive.

Creative Worth
If one finds creative success without having developed their moral character in parallel, these accomplishments bring short term worldly reward but invariably lead to unfulfilling disorder.
We call Christian Creatives to intentionally develop their moral character alongside their creative skills. Understanding that humility is a cornerstone of moral character, we recognize the source of all original skills are gifts from God alone and are used for His glory and not our gain. We remain open to learning and growing in our creative talents alongside the ongoing sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.

Creative Interactions
From clients to collaborators, every encounter should reflect the love and honor of Christ as we seek to build relationships characterized by kindness, empathy, and mutual respect.
We call Christian Creatives to prioritize interactions with people as a means to fulfill our God-given purpose to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our creative endeavors are more than self-expressions of talent, but acts of humble service, demonstrations of integrity, and occasions to care. Such focus, meaningfully contributes to the flourishing communities we are
part of.

Stewarding Culture
We believe that one of the principal purposes of creativity is to steward culture. Human beings have created culture since the dawn of time. culture is an indispensable dimension of our existence that cannot be uprooted and should not be ignored.
We call Christian Creatives to use their creativity to steward and build culture. Let us be gardeners, not only weeding out the harmful products of culture, but planting seeds of good fruit through our endeavors, tending the garden and creating an environment where good fruit can thrive.

Honoring God
We call Christian Creatives to acknowledge that creativity is a God-given gift, and, in order to respect that gift, call them to faithfully practice their talents and subsequently offer them back to God as an act of worship. Let us exercise creativity in a humble posture, acknowledging that we are sub-creators and it is only through God’s abounding grace that we may create at all. Thus, as we use our gifts, let us always use them to honor God by committing the process to Him and offering the product as an act of worship and gratitude.

Fostering Imagination
We call Christian Creatives to foster imagination by filling it with Scripture and disciplining it through prayer, nurturing it by exposure to truly great creative works, and practicing and strengthening imagination through the use of creativity. Additionally, let us foster the imagination of others in order to enable them to fully grasp truth, not only with their minds, but with their hearts. We can accomplish this by practicing creativity in a way that ignites others’ imaginations, inspiring them to grow both in imaginative capacity and creative scope.

Virtuous Creativity
Virtue, being a trait that tailors our moral character, has direct ties to our telos, or purpose, as Christians. When virtue is applied to our creativity, it orients our understanding of how we ought to use this gift given to us by God.
We call Christian Creatives to pursue virtuous creativity, seeking after Truth to form their moral character as they utilize their creativity to glorify God and bring about the Kingdom. Creativity of this nature requires consistency and to be fueled by that which is Good, True, and Beautiful.

Design Liturgies
We believe that the Christian Creatives should engage in design liturgies within their creative process. Liturgy refers to the acts of the church, be it confession, worship, prayer, or other such acts, that connect and orient us to God.
We call Christian Creatives to engage in design liturgies, continually surrendering themselves and their work to the Lord for shaping. Through this practice, the habit of denying the flesh in creative work is built, and the creative is shaped alongside their product by repeated participation in worship.

Creating in Community
We believe that Christian creatives should create within community, engaging with and being supplemented by family in the faith. Being members of the Church body, we were not created to worship and glorify God by ourselves.
We call Christian Creatives to be creative within faithful community, allowing the variety within the Church body to help shape creative works. Community not only provides creatives with a support system, supplementing their faith within creativity, but is integral to the Christian calling as we reflect God and take part in His greater narrative.

Beauty Matters
We believe that beauty plays a powerful role for Christian creatives as a method for conveying the truth and allure of the gospel message.
We call creatives to harness the power of beauty in their work as a means of enhancing the gospel witness. Let your creative expressions be a testament to the divine Creator, using beauty to inspire hope and redemption amidst the daily mundane experience. By incorporating beauty into your work, you can draw audiences into a greater appreciation of God’s character and creation, reflect His glory in inspiring and transformative ways, and deepen the impact of the gospel witness.

Wonder and Longing
We call Christian creatives to produce work that instills a sense of wonder and longing for something beyond the material realm. Through your creations, express both the beauty of divine mystery and grandeur of creation, and let your work awaken the deep spiritual needs that are inherent to each person. This approach demonstrates the plausibility and desirability of the gospel, leading others to encounter a deeper understanding of the spiritual and transformative truth of the gospel.

Transcendent Witness
We believe that the pursuit of transcendence is crucial to the christian creative’s work as it elevates beyond the ordinary and opens the door to the spiritual divine.
We call creatives to create enchanting work that transcends the ordinary and evokes emotional and spiritual impact. Let your creations reflect the grandeur and mystery of the divine, lifting the audience beyond the mundane and inviting them to explore spiritual realities. Allow your work to convey a sense of the eternal and the sublime, connecting everyday experiences with deeper, spiritual truths, and creating fertile ground for spiritual exploration and the gospel message.
